An engineering firm.
Built for scale.
We are not a consultancy that rotates teams. Not an agency that disappears after launch. We are an engineering firm that takes on a focused number of clients and builds infrastructure that scales.
Why we exist.
Three principles
One team
Sartoria Systems was founded in 2024 in Pune, Maharashtra, by engineers who had spent a decade watching good projects fail — not because of bad code, but because of bad architecture. The wrong technology for the problem. The wrong team for the client. A handover that left no one able to maintain what had been built.
We built the firm around one principle: audit first, architect once. We take on a focused number of engagements at a time. The same engineers who scope your system are the ones who build it and hand it over. No junior is assigned to do the work while a senior writes the proposal.
We are based in Pune, Maharashtra, work remote-first across India and beyond, and take on clients who need systems built to scale — not quickly, not cheaply, but correctly. We have been wrong about timelines. We have never been wrong about whether something was worth building.
Three commitments: clear, honest, durable. Clear on scope. Honest on timelines. Durable infrastructure that outlives the engagement.

Engineered integrity.
The architects who draft the blueprints are the engineers who forge the systems. No handoffs. No bench. Pure execution.

How we work.
A rigorous five-phase engineering pipeline. The same phases, every engagement.
every engagement
no exceptions
Audit
Two days on-site. We map systems, interview stakeholders, and document what's actually broken — not just the brief.
Architect
A written technical spec you approve. Scope, architecture, what we will not build. Friday brief, Monday start.
Execute
The build. Weekly demos every Friday. Your repo from day one. No handover drama.
Deploy
We ship to production and sit with the actual users. The last 10% is half the work.
Scale
Optional retainer. Proactive patching, quarterly reviews, on-call in 15 minutes. We don't disappear.
What we believe.
Not aspirational
Just how we work
Honest specifications
We will tell you when we think you're building the wrong thing. The spec we agree on is the spec we build. No scope creep that benefits us at your expense.
Small on purpose
We take on five clients at a time, not fifty. This means we know your system well enough to fix it at 3 a.m. — and we still answer the phone then.
Long-term thinking
We write code as if we'll have to maintain it for five years. We document as if we'll be sick and someone else will need to take over. We won't write technical debt into a system to ship faster.
No when it matters
We say no to projects we don't think should be built. We say no to technologies that won't serve you. We say no to timelines that would compromise the work.
Measurable outcomes
Every engagement ends with metrics. We agree on what "done" means before we start, and we measure it when we finish. If it's not measurable, we discuss why.
You own everything
Your code, your infrastructure, your data. We transfer everything — code, credentials, documentation — at the end of every engagement. No lock-in by design.
Open positions.
We hire rarely and carefully. If this sounds like how you want to work, we'd like to hear from you.

Engineered to deliver — on time, on budget.
True results.
"Sartoria built our entire Fastroot grocery platform from scratch. They handled the real-time logistics and inventory syncing without the usual launch-day chaos. It's solid, clean code."
"When we break a story, traffic spikes instantly. Sartoria rebuilt our infrastructure to handle the load without crashing, and their custom dashboard makes uploading media so fast we're now consistently first to publish. They just make it work"
"The trading automation suite Sartoria built is rock-solid. We needed precision and low latency, and they delivered a Python backend that handles high-frequency data without a hitch."
